Remember when Android 4.1 Jelly Bean was released back in June and Google ( GOOG ) said that the Samsung ( 005930 htc j ) Galaxy Nexus would be one of the first devices to get the upgrade? Well it’s been almost htc j two months htc j and Verizon ( VZ ) and Sprint ( S ) Galaxy Nexus owners have still gotten no word on when they can expect Jelly Bean on their devices. CNET’s htc j Maggie Reardon says she recently asked both carriers about an update on pushing out Jelly Bean and received the silent treatment . Reardon says that Verizon in particular deserves some grief for the slow rollout since the company “is known for a slower upgrade process” that is supposed to guarantee strong user experience but that ends up needlessly delaying important updates.
